What size bike do I need?

Please refer to the information below:

Most riders can choose a bike size by matching their height to standard charts: for example, a 5'7"–5'9" (170–175 cm) rider typically fits a 54–55 cm road bike or a 17–18″ medium mountain bike.

Overview

Bike sizing varies by bike type (road, mountain, hybrid). Height gives a quick estimate, but inseam measurement improves accuracy.

Why Inseam Matters

Height gives a good estimate, but inseam ensures correct standover clearance (1–2″ for road, 2–4″ for MTB).
If inseam < standover height, the bike is too big.

Additional Fit Tips

  • Road & hybrid bikes use cm frame sizing; MTBs use inches or S–XL.

Correct bike sizing ensures comfort, efficiency, and safe handling across all riding conditions.
